Dance the Rumba at La Pena | Berkeley

Cafe Rumba is an event that urges the community to not just watch but participate by dancing the rumba.

There are three basic types of rumba in Cuba: yambu is a slower, simpler style; the guaguanco, a moderate to fast style where the rhythm can be more complex and the columbia, the fastest style danced by solo males who perform to demonstrate their strength, agility, and sense of humor.
