Salsa in the Square brings you one of the Bay Area’s best salsa acts Avance, live in a free outdoor concert.

Plus, there’s free Introductory Dance Lessons prior to the performance at 6 pm. This way, once the band takes the stage you and your dancing partner can show off in the open dance floor.

About the Band: Avance

Three electrifying bilingual singers, a sizzling horn section and one of the best rhythm sections on the West Coast. You put this all together and you get a new and unique sound that crosses the language barrier: Spanish and English. They’ve got three things: sizzle, style and most of all swing.

This event is part of the Jewels in the Square program of free outdoor performances exclusively in San Francisco’s iconic Union Square Park.
