Come celebrate the seven principals of Kwanzaa with a spiritual ceremony, a feast, live entertainment and a lighting of one of the seven candles of the Kinara.
The 6th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration honors the seven principles of Kwanzaa with 13 free events taking place over seven days throughout San Francisco presented by The Village Project and the Bayview Y.
Day 2: Kujichagulia (self-determination): to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves.
The celebration continues with a keynote address by Dr. Brenda Wade, author of the new book, , 99 Things You Wish You Knew Before Falling In Love and host of the TV show, Black Renaissance.
