Event Details

The Dead Alleys is a band formed by Kaitlin Trataris (vocals) and Ana María Montenegro (guitar and backup vocals) that covers punk rock songs whose lyrics are in languages they don’t understand.

The project performs the misinterpretation and propagation of messages that happen globally through media. The band is currently touring backyards and art spaces in San Francisco, California.

Free handmade silk-screened Dead Alleys band patches for the first 15 visitors the the space. These patches are normally sold through the band’s performances or the giftshop at residence/SF.

The Dead Alleys will be performing at 9 pm in the space following Dogpaw, a San Franciscan storyteller, in conversation with Juan Pablo Pacheco discussing an oral history of his experience in radio and the Bay Area over the last 25 years starting at 8 pm.
