Join us for a special edition of Open Mic featuring Thirst Draft, a monthly writing-event-meets-open-mic! While you’re still encouraged to show up and showcase your unique talents (whatever they may be), we’re changing up our usual format for the night.
Everyone will get the same prompt when they walk in the door. For the first hour, you’ll have time to craft a unique piece based on that prompt — poem, song, short story, joke, letter… anything goes! You can work alone *or* collaborate with friends/neighbors. Once you’re happy with your piece, you can sign up to read/perform on stage.
Performances will start at around 8pm, though the sign-up sheet will remain open.

Decentered hosts a multi-genre open mic every Tuesday. Sign ups to perform are in-person. Slots are 3 mins. Music, comedy, poetry, short films, juggling, calling your ex on stage – anything goes! We are so proud to serve the community for five years strong.
Accessability Note: Reaching the Studio requires going up a set of stairs. Sadly we are not ADA accessible. Let us know if you have other accessability needs that we can accomodate
