Columbus Day Parade Disruption | Decolonize the New World 2012: Anti-Capitalism Rallies | SF

Here’s a posting that we received from an organization that wants to protest the Italian Heritage Parade – Just so you’re aware this may be taking place. Protest if you like, but of course don’t be a violent idiot.

Decolonize The World says…
“This is a call for autonomous creative disruptions of the San Francisco Columbus Day Parade on Saturday, October 7, 2012.

On this day Columbus Day Celebration, Inc. will put on a ceremony of conquest and colonization called the 144th Annual Italian Heritage Parade.

This is a call for autonomous creative actions to expose the full history of colonization and join the continuing global anti-colonial and anti-capitalist resistance. Attack the symbols and disrupt the idols of empire, colonization, and capital.”
