Decolonize the New World 2012 is a series of anti-colonialism and anti-capitalism protests, marches and actions taking place in San Francisco over Columbus Day weekend from October 5-8, 2012.
Actions include an anti-colonialism and anti-capitalism march, a creative disruption of the Columbus Day parade in San Francisco, and protecting sacred sites in the East Bay.

Sacred Sites Protest | Decolonize the New World 2012: Anti-Capitalism Rallies | SFOn Tuesday, October 9, 2012, East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) will hold its final public comment meeting on the upcoming revisions of its Master Plan. We are asking for a massive display of public support at the meeting to amplify regional Indigenous people’s concerns.
