Volunteer Deliver Christmas Day Meals to Homebound Seniors in SF (2022)

2022 Christmas Meal Deliveries – San Francisco
The Salvation Army South of Market Corps

For over 60 years, The Salvation Army has delivered Christmas meals to around 4,000 homebound seniors and disabled adults.

The elderly and housebound adults in our community have been impacted more than most as they experience even greater isolation due to the pandemic. The special touch of a fresh holiday meal and a warm greeting from our volunteers will be extra special this Christmas!

COVID-19 Measures:

• You may be required to wear a mask or have your temperature taken in some facilities before entering.

Notes for delivery shifts:

• 20 meal routes (1 fresh food box, 1 dry )
• 40 meal routes – less stops but more deliveries at those stops (2 fresh food boxes, 2 dry)

(NOTE: Drivers – please only reserve ONE SPOT PER VEHICLE.

If reserving a spot for a 40 Meal Route Shift, please ensure you have space for 4 food boxes. Thank you!)
