Moderated by Sue Fishkoff, Editor of the J. The Jewish News of Northern California

David Horovitz joins us as the Mort and Amy Friedkin Scholar-in-Residence. In conversation with Sue Fishkoff, he will reflect on the potential ramifications of the U.S. presidential elections on diaspora-Israel relations and U.S.-Israel bilateral relations. He will also address other hot topics in the media as well as the role of the Times of Israel, as an English language newspaper, in covering the news in Israel. This is the first in a series of conversations with journalists covering Israel.

David Horovitz is the founding editor of The Times of Israel. He is the author of “Still Life with Bombers” (2004) and “A Little Too Close to God” (2000), and co-author of “Shalom Friend: The Life and Legacy of Yitzhak Rabin” (1996). He previously edited The Jerusalem Post (2004-2011) and The Jerusalem Report (1998-2004).

Sue Fishkoff is editor of J. The Jewish News of Northern California. She is a former national correspondent for the JTA news agency, and author of The Rebbe’s Army and Kosher Nation.
