“Musical Mondays” Sing-Along At The Edge | Castro

Start your week singing with Musical Mondays or get over the hump with Musical Wednesdays at The Edge in the Castro, where they play all of your favorite musicals to sing and drink along with a different theme each week from 7 pm to 2 am every Monday and Wednesday.

Dress up for the theme and bring your friends. You never know if some singing celebrities might show up. In the past, they’ve been graced with the casts from Book of Mormon, American Idiot, Les Miserables, Lion King, Grinch, and Bring It On. They’ve also had a performance from American Idol finalist LaToya London, and local talent including Jason Brock, Leanne Borghesi, and many more.

There’s never a cover charge. Enjoy 2-for-1 cocktails before 9 pm, and buy 1 drink get a 2nd drink for $1 after 9 pm. VJ Arthur Allione also plays your favorite clips.

The Edge is a landmark LGBT community bar in the historic Castro neighborhood for over 20 years.

Cast of "Triassic Parq" | “Musical Mondays” Sing-Along At The Edge | Castro

Musical Mondays: Stoli Superstar Edition returns with a special live performance night with the cast of Ray of Light Theatre’s “Triassic Parq” playing San Francisco’s Eureka Theatre through June 28. Join the cast of this acclaimed, outrageous show for 2-4-1 Stoli and well cocktails as they take to the Edge stage with musical theatre favourites.

Dinosaurs, show-tunes and sex changes come together in this inventive new musical that will leave you laughing and crying all the way back to the prehistoric era. When one female T-Rex suddenly turns male, the entire pack must question their identity, gender, and what is possible. Winner of Best Musical at LA’s 2013 Ovation Awards and NY Fringe Festival 2010, Triassic Parq examines love, faith and science through a hilarious lens. and most importantly, there’s singing dinosaurs.

As always, there’s no cover and enjoy streaming video clips with jazz hands galore beginning at 7 pm, with live performances starting after 9 pm.
