This month’s special guests are the crew from San Franciscos #1 comedic podcast: Pier 69

  • Joey Avery – After starting his career in Cape Town, South Africa Joey Avery received the Jimmy Gunn award for Best Newcomer to the Bay Area comedy scene and was recently listed in SF Chronicle as one of the Bay Area Comic’s to catch. He has appeared on Fox and AJ+ as well as in the San Francisco Sketchfest Comedy Festival and the San Diego Sun God Music and Arts Festival.
  • Mark Smalls -Mark Smalls is one of the hottest comics burning up the stages in the Bay Area and throughout the West Coast. He’s performed at comedy festivals and stages across the country. Mark Smalls could be one of the funniest comics you’ll see that night. Some people have even called him the best 27 year old white male comic hailing from the Bay Area that still lives with his mother, that’s named Mark. In addition to the funnies he has also been a top competitor in Nickelodeon Guts and Legends of the Hidden Temple. Sliver snakes, bro. Mark’s material ranges from adult themed humor to themed adult humor and even touches on today’s society, of adult themes. He’s not one to miss. Mark has opened for The Sklar Bros, Ian Bagg and more. Also a competitor in the 42nd SF Intl Comedy Competition.
  • Andrew Orolfo – If life wasn’t hard enough, this college drop out decided it was time to put down the books and pick up a struggle. Being a first generation American to Filipino parents, the idea of stand up as a profession, was met with disdain and heated arguments. But After a few years of relentlessly hitting stages, Andrew has now become a staple in the San Francisco comedy scene, performing at the local shows and comedy clubs. He has been featured in the SF Sketchfest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival.
  • Dauood Naimyar – David Naimyar was born Dauood Mohammad Naimyar, but at a very young age he knew the value of assimilating. Because of this, he tried his best to not be different but failed at every encounter. Once he embraced his eccentric point of view he saw the humor all around him. David’s humor and comedic perspective is shaped by the duality of his constant need to fit in and be different. His search for being relatable and yet controversial has brought audiences joy for the last six years and will probably continue until he finally figures out who he is, which we hope he doesn’t cause bills need to be paid.
