Down and Dirty: Volunteering Day | Oakland

Come be a part of local climate solutions with Let’s Get Down and Dirty, a celebration of International Day of Action for Climate Change 10/10/10

The day’s celebrations will include revitalizing Laney College’s community garden, local food, and live music from Oakland’s hip-hop legends Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth.

There will also be workshops and speeches on building community access to healthy, affordable food from local climate change leaders. Also, learn more about the threat to our communities from Prop 23, the Dirty Energy Proposition.
