Event Details

Get out all of your pink party fashions and come celebrate all the Leo birthdays at an art and dance party at Oakland’s Middle Harbor Shoreline Park from noon to 8 pm on Saturday,  August 16, 2014.

Shake it to DJs and a live band, enjoy live art and a gallery style show, watch fire dancers at sunset, and bring the kids too; there will be a bubble station, hula hoops, arts and crafts, lawn games, and a piñata.

The Pink Party is a fundraiser for the next production of “The Vagina Monologues.” Suggested donation is $5.

  • 12:45 – 1:30 pm – Julio Sandoval & guest (The Creativity Stimulus Package / Seasoned)
  • 1:30 – 3 pm – Tasty (live band)
  • 3 – 4 pm – Sule E. (The Creativity Stimulus Package / Seasoned)
  • 4 – 5 pm – Kincaid (About The Music / Grooves-In-The-Park)
  • 5 – 6 pm – Rahiem Jihad (essentialsoles.com / Madu Soul)
  • 6 – 7 pm – Juan Romero (The Creativity Stimulus Package / Glass House)
  • 7 – 8 pm – Martin Privat (The Creativity Stimulus Package / Seasoned)

What to bring:

  • an ice-chest/backpack filled with the drink of your choice

  • picnic blanket, if desired (there are plenty of picnic tables about)
  • dancing shoes
  • smiles and laughter
  • overall good vibes
