Environmental disasters get the headlines but what do you know about the social movements that grew up worldwide to fight for the environment?
Chronicling the Greenpeace workers saving whales or those who stopped the damming of the Grand Canyon, the documentary “A Fierce Green Fire” has been ten years in the making.
Come to a screening: Filmmaker Mark Kitchell (Academy Award nominee & Sundance Audience Award winner 1990) is showing part of his film at 111 Minna and having a party after.
Come join students, activists, film lovers, and green business professionals to support Mark Kitchell and his latest film A Fierce Green Fire. Enter the raffle and will $100 gift certificate to Thermidore restaurant and other fun prizes. Mark will be there to answer questions and tell you all about the Oscar red carpet.
