2026 Easter in the Park
Children’s Easter: 10am
Sisters’ Easter Celebration: Noon to 4pm
Hunky Jesus Contest: 3pm

Festivities begin with Children’s Easter at 10:00 am, followed by the main stage celebration from Noon to 4:00 pm on the north end of Dolores Park near the tennis courts.

The event features drag performances, live music, Sister rituals, and the legendary Easter Bonnet, Foxy Mary, and Hunky Jesus contests, which typically take place in the afternoon.

Hosted by Sister Roma, Peaches Christ, and Honey Mahogany, the celebration features performers including Flamy Grant, Per Sia, Papi Churro, Xochitl, Grace Towers, KaiKai Bee Michaels, and Alotta Boutte.

The Sisters’ Easter in the Park is FREE and open to all. Sisters will collect donations to help cover expenses and contribute to our Community Grants Fund, supporting organizations and worthy causes throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Donations to support The Sisters’ work can be made by making a meaningful gift at https://www.thesisters.org/donate.

Children’s Easter 2026

Children’s Easter takes place on the east side of the park’s north field near 18th and Dolores and begins at 10:00 am. The Easter Bunny welcomes parents and little ones for family-friendly fun, including an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, plus games and activities.

Main Stage 2026

Beginning at Noon, the main stage celebration brings Dolores Park to life with live entertainment, drag artists, and Sisterly mischief. Hosted by Sister Roma, Peaches Christ, and Honey Mahogany, the show features performances from a lineup of Bay Area entertainers and special guests.

Hunky Jesus, Foxy Mary, and Bonnet Contests 2026

As always, all are invited to enter the Hunky Jesus, Foxy Mary, and Easter Bonnet contests.

When contests are announced from the stage, contestants should line up backstage near the tennis courts where contestant wranglers will greet them. Due to time constraints, contestants will go through a brief pre-screening process, and finalists will be invited onstage where the audience decides the winner of each contest.

Pro Tip: Well-conceived, clever characterizations or concepts for Foxy Mary and Hunky Jesus always get the best response. Due to time constraints, groups are discouraged, and there will be a pre-screening of all contestants. Finalists will be invited onstage for the audience to decide the winner of each contest.

Producing Easter in the Park is possible each year because of the dedication of dozens of volunteers. This year, with the help of their technology partner, Do Good Stuff, the Sisters have deployed a shiny new volunteer management platform to organize and activate their dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers. Anyone can help the Sisters out and sign up to volunteer at Easter in the Park.

Helpful Info

  • While nudity and profanity are prohibited, parents are advised that the later portion of the show may be more adult-oriented and could be inappropriate for younger children.
  • This event draws a very large crowd, so arriving early is recommended. Neighborhood parking is extremely limited, and the Sisters encourage attendees to walk, bike, or take public transportation.
  • Easy access from MUNI Metro J Line (18th and 20th Street stops) and bus routes 33 and 22, with a short walk from routes 24, 14, 14R, and 49.
  • Please help keep the park clean. No smoking and no glass containers are allowed in Dolores Park. Everything brought into the park should be packed out or disposed of properly.
  • Producing Easter in the Park each year is made possible by the dedication of volunteers and community partners who help keep this beloved San Francisco tradition going strong.
