May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month ️

A note from our founder, Ariel Lehaitre, MSPT:

This upcoming month holds deep personal meaning for me. Five years ago, my beautiful cousin, Courtney, a bright, young physician, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. She had barely any symptoms. The news completely blindsided our family.

But in the face of unimaginable adversity, Courtney has continued to inspire us all. She’s become a powerful writer and advocate, sharing her journey and raising awareness. Through it all, she still shows up for her patients every day as a hospitalist.

Brain cancer is incredibly complex. There are so many different types (126 known today), yet very little research and funding to support breakthroughs. We all agree that needs to change.

Saturday May 17th at 12 PM I will be hosting a charity mat class on Zoom. All proceeds will go towards research done by the American Brain Tumor Association. I would love to see you there, so that we can help make a difference together.

I am so grateful for our entire community. Thank you for helping make a difference with me.
