Chinese Progressive Association invites you to their 4th annual 冬至 Dongzhi Winter Solstice Festival on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
冬至 Dongzhi, the Winter Solstice, signifies the beginning of winter and is a time for families to come together, eat, and reflect on the accomplishments of the past year. It also marks the lengthening of the days, which is a cause for celebration as families think about how they can build together towards the new year while preparing food and tangyuan (rice balls) together.
