Dr. LaGarrett King: BLM at School Week of Action (Online)

The School of Education at Mills College is pleased that Dr. LaGarrett King will join us as our keynote speaker on Thursday, February 3, 2022, 4:30 – 5:30 pm PST for our annual Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action programming.
This will be a 45-minute presentation with time for questions and answers from attendees. Dr. King will discuss the origins of his work with the Teaching Black History Conference and the importance of teaching full and accurate history to all children to reflect respect for their learning and their lives.
