We’ll be pausing Jayro Bustamante’s political folk horror film, La Llorona, to draw striking frames.
Basic materials (pencils, paper, erasers) will be provided. You may bring your own materials, but please no fume-creating paint or paint pens. Watercolor, ink and gouache are fine.
This is a self-led event; there will be no instruction or feedback. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to look at others’ drawings and show your own.
NR, 96 mins., 2019. Closed Captions and subtitles in English. Due to pauses for drawing, the full film will not be shown.
The workshop will take place in the Main Library, on the Lower Level, in the Latino/Hispanic Meeting Room.
