We’ll be pausing Laughton’s Southern Gothic thriller, Night of the Hunter, to draw striking frames. We’ll be focusing on the art deco design, dramatic shadows and poses in the film.
Basic materials (pencils, paper, erasers) will be provided. You may bring your own materials, but please no fume-creating paint or paint pens. Watercolor, ink and gouache are fine.
This is a self-led event; there will be no instruction or feedback. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to look at others’ drawings and show your own.

The event takes places in the Main Library at 100 Larkin Street, in the Latino/Hispanic Meeting Room.
