Dutch Kingsday Night Happy Hour Party

It is a 100 year old tradition from the Netherlands that the entire population would celebrate the Queen or King’s birthday and as the King is Willem van Oranje (Orange) we all dress up in Orange and party.

The festivities will be held at Kezar Pub as they have outdoor seating but also a great pub inside, the music will be in both sections so you can party with your own comfort level.

This is used to be a huge party but due to Covid, we are just going to do a fun happy hour at a regular pub for the Dutch to ease back into the social gatherings again. So expect in the beginning a run of Dutch music through the decades. From Doemaar (ska funk) to van dikhout (indie rock) all the way to Glory days of the best holland dj’s Tiesto, Corsten, van Doorn, van Buuren, in the nihil years to the days of tomorrowland and sensation in amsterdam with Mike Magoo, Oliver Helden, R3hab, DJ Dannic, and so many more

Plus every hour there will be an apres skihut song to make sure you have time to go to the bathroom and get another Bavaria Beer 🙂 .

This used be a paid event but as we starting out with the local scene, donations would be welcome as we have to pay for the decorations, dutch snacks, and offcourse the founder of Kingsday in LA and SF best international DJ Marc van Brabant . Venmo @djmvb

So come out in Orange, You don’t have to be Dutch but be openminded as the Dutch are not known for their dancing but they will do it and will do it with great finesse!
