Tweed rides are a celebration of bicycles, social pleasure riding, the Golden Era of the Bicycle, wool and English tailoring.
Join the East Bay Bike Coalition and B. Spoke Tailor on Sunday, September 15, 2013 for fashion and frolic, West Coast style. English cycling attire of the turn of the last century is the fashion to aspire to, or to reinterpret as you will.

Starting at Fruitvale BART Station, Oakland
FREEThere will be prizes for both the most English and most creative dress, the best mustache, the best pipe, the best cap, the best period bike, the best-dressed bike, the most elegant mount and dismount.
The ride is appropriate for all ages. No one turned away, but for lack of bike and wool. Pack a picnic lunch (bottle of wine or whiskey flask optional).
