Oh yes, it’s free hot dogs! From 1pm to 6pm, The Frankenart Mart art gallery has a battle royale between beef and veggie hot dogs once a month (beef traditionally wins.. so come on all you vegans!). As a special bonus the gallery will be filming their Bollywood Dance Scene for Frankenart the Musical. If you come at 4p, be prepared to dance on the sidewalk.

About Hot Dog Day: Every month, Frankenart Mart gives away free beef and veggie dogs to all visitors who want one. There’s a bit of a rivalry going on between the two – scorewise. Though veggie has come very close, beef has historically won out.

The Frankenart Mart, celebrating its fourth anniversary this week, is a quirky shoebox-sized art gallery in the Inner Richmond with curious one-of-a-kind interactive art exhibits and unique art projects like “Poetry in a Can“.

Franken News Network and Queen of the Beach Documentary Screening

From the Reports & Documentaries show, FNN was our extremely local news network where everyone was invited to contribute their news an/ or anchor the news. Also showing Cailtin Conlen’s Queen of the Beach Documentary about one woman’s San Francisco memories, gardening, and swimming Ocean Beach.

World Premiere of Frankenbaby: the Unborn Dead and other Dream Job Footage
Fri April 2, 7pm
Created for the Dream Job show, Frankenbaby is our very offensive, poorly filmed, badly edited horror movie. This film is not for babies or children. Also screening some other highlights from Dream Jobs: Dental Hygienist and Folk Singer.

Frankentalk Endurathon
Sat April 3, 3pm
Almost Andy Warholesque in its bizarrity and length, our talk show, Frankentalk, involved interviews of franken visitors.

Our regular Hot Dog Day only amplified by the fact that it’s our 4 year anniversary and Easter and we’re filming our Bollywood Dance Scene for Frankenart the Musical. If you come at 4, be prepared to dance on the sidewalk.
