Free Friday Night Bands at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk | 2019

Every summer, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk casts its net and drags in a host of Top 40 bands from the ’70s, ’80s, and early ’90s to play free concerts right on the beach every Friday night.

Free Friday Night Bands at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk | 2019

Money burst onto the music scene with his self-titled debut album in 1977. The album, which went double platinum, features hits like “Baby Hold On” and “Two Tickets to Paradise.”

Money followed the success of his debut album with a stream of Top 40 hits, “Think I’m in Love,” “Shakin,” “Take Me Home Tonight,” and “I Wanna Go Back.”

As the years have passed, Money’s blue-collar brand of rock-n-roll has managed to transcend generations and continues to move audiences today.
