Event Details

Pioneering chef Alice Waters and local non-profit Garden For the Environment have both spent a lot of their time thinking about food and farming. Tonight, we are happy to share the print projects they executed at the Levi’s Workshop.

Alice created an educational poster that will be distributed to Edible Schoolyard programs around the country. Leaders at GFE printed an inspiring broadside that reveals their simple recipe for “feeling good”.

Both projects were lovingly printed onsite at the Workshop and are surely worthy of celebration.

About Levi’s Workshops: Located in San Francisco’s iconic Mission District (home to one of the first Levi’s factories), we’ve opened up a community print shop. During July and August 2010 we’ll be hard at work teaching classes on classic letterpress machinery, screenprinting designs, setting type, and getting our hands dirty.
