Event Details

El Farolito Soccer Club is an amateur team owned and operated by the same family behind the beloved Mission District restaurants.

They’re the reigning NPSL champions and now have a chance to make history as the first club ever to win back-to-back national titles, right here in San Francisco—this Saturday at Kezar Stadium.

After claiming the 2024 NPSL title, making the deepest 2025 Open Cup run of any amateur club (where they beat multiple professional teams) and winning the Steinbrecher Cup just last month, they’re factually the undisputed top amateur team in the country! Doing all this all while holding day jobs.

The roster is made up almost entirely of immigrants—primarily from Central and South America, with standout players from Côte d’Ivoire and even some relatives from the Excelsior District.

This Saturdays championship at Kezar is a celebration of so much of what there is to love about San Francisco: our championship pedigree, multiculturalism, our natural and built beauty—and of course, Mission burritos.

It’s free admission and a perfect chance to show and live in your for the city you love.

Saturday, August 2nd – 5PM – Kezar Stadium.
