Come to this presentation and discussion.

In a recent social media post (#88), Bob Avakian cited this comment from someone arguing that we must vote for Kamala Harris:

“If Democrats lose [the upcoming election] there is no fighting for a new system as the other side already has their new authoritarian system planned out and ready to roll it with project 2025. Battles are how you win wars and losing this election means the initial war is over and lost. Then a much harder war begins that we can’t win without great casualties.”

Avakian responded:

“This utterly fails to actually think outside the framework, and confines, of this system. It ignores—or downplays, and does not really come to terms with—this important reality, which I emphasized in my message number 85: As horrific as Trump is, supporting Harris and the Democratic Party means enlisting as willing accomplices in the crusade of U.S. capitalism-imperialism to remain the world’s number one exploiter, oppressor and plunderer of people and the environment, even at the cost of risking the future, and the very existence, of humanity.”

Are you disgusted by the prospect of voting for either Trump or Harris? But cannot see any other real choice except Harris? Then you need to come to Revolution Books and be part of digging into what is real and what is not (hint: revolution in the USA is a lot more possible and real than Kamala Harris acting in the interests of humanity.) Come hear why these are rare times when an actual revolution is more possible.

We’ll play selections and discuss dispatches from @BobAvakianOfficial on the election, why we should work for revolution, and how to seize this time.
