One of the oldest bars in San Francisco, the Mission District’s Elixir aims to keep you discovering new cocktails to enjoy by hosting a weekly “cocktail club” with a free educational guided tasting and the chance to learn about all the spirits that go into making Elixir cocktails.

Most Thursdays (7p-9p)August 30, 2012: Royal Combier Grande Liqueur
A harmonious blend of Original Combier, V.S.O.P. cognac and Elixir Combier (one of the most famous of all French hygienic liqueurs since its creation by Jean-Baptiste Combier in 1860), Royal Combier Grande Liqueur includes ingredients such as aloe, nutmeg, myrrh, cardamom, cinnamon, and saffron, the result of which is an exotic and complex liqueur best enjoyed cold or in classic and modern cocktails as an orange liqueur substitute for added spice.
Tasting is included with the purchase of any beverage from the bar. No one may legally taste without a purchase. Upon your purchase you will be given a ticket for each tasting.
