the Pioneer Monument through site-specific works that reimagine public space

and the stories our monuments tell.

• Mia Eve Rollow

• La Pocha Nostra – Phantom Mariachi

●Baaits

●La Gente

●Banda Sin Nombre

●Inti Mystica

guest artists, community workshops, ceremonial gatherings, live

music,

and more.

Over the past two months, Embassy of the Refugee has transformed the Pioneer

Monument into a living site of dialogue, resilience, and collective imagination.

Wrapped in reflective gold and built alongside communities in movement and artist

ambassadors, the scaffold has become a monument to labor, migration, and

belonging.

This free public event marks the culmination of the residency and invites everyone

to imagine new forms of public memory.

Free & Open to the Public

Presented by the support of Shaping Legacy Initiative, the San Francisco Arts

Commission, Monument Lab Fellowship, and The Rooming House Residency and

Lead Artis Kaleb Duarte.
