>> Want to see our Top Picks for this week instead?
The Napper Tandy | 3200 24th Street San Francisco, CA
Submitted by the Event Organizer
Tatzoo is an organization that brings tattoos and creative people together to protect endangered species. On Friday, August 3, 2012 they’ll be drinking in the mission to help save the San Francisco Garter Snake.
If your going to hit the bars on a Friday night, why not do it in the name of conservation? Protecting endangered species has never felt so good.
There will be free t-shirts commemorating the ‘slither’ and the SF Garter Snake given to the first 50 who arrive. Games will include trivia, relay games, dares, a visit from special guest Brent Plater, and a giant snake to parade through the Mission en route to bars. Drink specials include $3 wells, free drinks for contest winners and mystery specials at Benders.

How you can help?
To join the pub crawl you will be signing a personal postcard petition asking Mayor Ed Lee to rethink his stance on restoring the Sharp Park Wetlands. We will be explaining the issue to participants at the beginning/throughout the night. We will be collectively delivering the postcards to the Mayor’s Office and adding leverage to campaigns put in place through the Wild Equity Foundation, Center for Biological Diversity, and The Sierra Club.
