Event Details

Hear the voices of Endersnight in their concert debut in the beautiful nave of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, located just one block from 16th/Mission BART Station.

Admission free; donations of $20 gladly accepted. Reception with the artists to follow.

The concert program of approximately one hour will feature masterworks of the 15th, 16th and 20th centuries by Antoine Brumel, Orlande de Lassus, James MacMillan and more.

Founded in 2015, Endersnight takes its name from the 15th-century century English carol “This Enders Night.” The a cappella vocal ensemble specializes in performing the sacred polyphonic choral repertoire of the 14th–16th centuries, and its members are veterans of the leading professional choral groups of the Bay Area, including Chanticleer, the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, Philharmonia Baroque Chorale, American Bach Soloists, Clerestory, Volti, Cappella SF, and the Grace Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys. Endersnight is the choir in residence for the Compline service at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco’s Mission District.
