The heat wave may be over but one local city has been named the energy saver champions.
To promote eco-friendly communities, the neighborhood network Nextdoor teamed up with Flex Alert to launch an Energy Savers Challenge across California. After receiving thousands of submissions, we are proud to announce that Walnut Creek has been named the neighborhood with the most energy savers
To celebrate the win, Nextdoor is throwing a block party where all Walnut Creek neighbors are welcome. Head on over to the end of Vista Charanoaks in Walnut Creek, Sunday, September 25th, from 2-6pm for a family-friendly day of fun. You can expect lawn games, music, food, and gardening with a surprise to take home.
