2016 Earth Day Film Festival

The Earth Day Film Festival is a platform to showcase art and film projects of an Earth sensitive population. This film festival runs entirely on Clean Energy with Zero Waste goals, holding film screenings around the world on Earth Day and throwing a festival full of good earth love and mind expansion in San Francisco.

4/22, 7-10 pm – Global Consciousness Film Night
The Ramp – 855 Terry A Francois Boulevard, San Francisco
Each year we select an element or aspect of this earthly experience to honor through the festival, as the theme. This year we will be honoring, Water. On Friday night, Earth Day, we will screen these selected films submitted from all over the world, through clean energy and maintain zero waste goals per our commitment to match the messages we share to how we operate as a film festival.

4/23, 7:30 pm – Outdoor Screening of: The Edge of the Wild
Mission Blue Baseball Field – 475 Mission Blue Drive, Brisbane, CA
We will be screening The Edge of the Wild, which takes place in Brisbane, in a park, with San Bruno Mountain as the backdrop. We are matching the message film with the environment it’s screened in. The evening will start with an opener by The Earth Day Film Festival, presenting a short film on the splenders of caves, Sharing the Secrets. We will then invite Gail Mallimson, director of The Edge of the Wild, to present her film. There will be a question and answer opportunity after the film.

If you are a company or organization that needs their story told around the environmental work that you do, come meet some of the world’s best storytellers, the filmmakers selected to screen at The Earth Day Film Festival. For our filmmakers who are interested in sharing stories that have value and are calling for a better world, these are the people doing the work.
