The 2022 East Bay Open Studios Event Will Take Place June 4 & 5, and June 11 & 12 and Features Over 140 Participating Artists in 11 Cities Showing their art in person.
For over 40 years, the East Bay Open Studios has been a wonderful opportunity for art lovers in the Bay Area to connect with artists all over the East Bay. These free self-guided tours of artist studios and exhibition spaces give the public a unique opportunity to have direct one-on-one experiences with the artists, and to purchase artwork directly from them. The public can visit artists working in visual mediums including, but not limited to, drawing, print making, fiber art, photography, digital art, mixed media, ceramics, painting, wood working, jewelry, installation art, illustration, sculpture, collage and more.
Artists will open their studios and exhibition spaces to the public under all covid safety regulations. The public can visit artists in 11 East Bay cities during the event in Pinole, El Sobrante, Richmond, Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, Livermore, Walnut Creek, Concord, Martinez and Lafayette. The public is invited into the studios and exhibition spaces of the artists where they can connect, learn about their inspirations and techniques, and in some cases watch demonstrations, and purchase artwork directly from the artists. 100% of the art sales benefit the artists directly.
The event also includes (2) artists who are showing their work virtually in our website’s artist directory. Visit their websites and connect with these artists when it is convenient for you.
The public will be able to view all artist listings beginning April 15.
Weekend 1 – Saturday/Sunday, June 4 and 5 • 11 am – 6 pm
