2018 Beat Museum Poetry Festival | North Beach
You’re invited to the 11th Annual Beat Museum Poetry Festival on September 29-30, 2018 from 1 pm to 6 pm featuring a two day of poetry and music.
The Beat Museum Poetry Festival began in 2008, as part of a North Beach Artist Walk, organized and expanded by Bay Area artist Leah Lubin. The Beat Museum is dedicated to spreading the spirit of The Beat Generation, which they define as tolerance, compassion and having the courage to live your individual truth. The museum is home to an extensive collection of Beat memorabilia, including original manuscripts and first editions, letters, personal effects and cultural ephemera.
