Art Explosion Spring Open Studios 2026 (April 10-12)

Art Explosion Spring Open Studios returns for a weekend of art, open studios, and a free kickoff party in the Mission District.

More than 100 local artists will open their workspaces to the public, showcasing everything from painting and sculpture to photography, fashion, and jewelry. Visitors can meet artists, explore galleries, and browse a wide range of original work across two nearby buildings.

The weekend begins with a free opening reception on Friday night, followed by open studio hours on Saturday and Sunday. It’s an easy, low-pressure way to see a lot of art in one place—and a good excuse to wander the neighborhood.
