2019 Berkeley Old Time Music Convention

The Berkeley Old Time Music Convention is a five day music festival featuring performances by local and national acts, several rollicking square dances, the illustrious stringband contest, workshops, and plenty of jamming, in venues throughout Berkeley.
The convention is organized by folks who love old time music and who want to create their own musical fun.

September 18:
- 8 pm to 11 pm – Welcome Party
September 19:
- 1 pm to 4 pm – Open Jam
- 5 pm – Concert- Jam at the Freight hosted by Jim & Amber Mueller
September 20:
- 1 pm to 4 pm – Open Jam
- 5:30 pm to 7 pm – Square Dance – with Echo Mountain, calling by Sue Hulsether
- 5 pm – Concert – Freight hosted by Mark Olson & Penny Critchlow
September 21:
- 10:15 am to 11 am – Concert for Kids and Parents featuring Morgan Cochneuer
- 11 am – Berkeley Farmers’ Market String Band Contest – After the concert at the Library, walk three blocks to Civic Center Park, get a delicious lunch from one of the Farmers Market food trucks.
-Special performance by the Manning Music Fiddlers – Civic Center Park (MLK between Allston and Center), Berkeley
September 22:
- 3 pm to 4 pm – Family Dance
Tickets: $6 kids; $8 adults; available at the door-with Sydney Roberts and Friends and guest caller Sue Hulsether. Special guest performance by the BOTMC Kids Fiddle Band
