Lunar New Year Shopping Market

Building upon the celebrations, OEWD is supporting the Lunar New Year Shopping Market at Waverly Place. Hosted in partnership with BeChinatown and the Chinese Youth Center, the market will showcase local vendors offering a diverse array of goods, from traditional decorations to unique handcrafted items, over two weekends, January 18–19 and January 25–26. This market not only enhances the festive atmosphere but also provides crucial support to small businesses within the community.

Is this event taking place in 2025? Please note, this event was originally scheduled to occur over the January 18-19 weekend, but it has been postponed. Next weekend, January 25-26 is likely happening, but not 100% confirmed. Please check the Community Youth Center for confirmation or the City’s Lunar New Year guide.
