Napa does Art After Dark. This nine-day festival is free to the public and features iconic architecture that becomes the painting in a unique lighted art walk. Original artwork is created by local and international artists with installations at approximately 13 locations in Downtown Napa, the Oxbow District and other places within the City of Napa.
The Napa Lighted Art Festival is a celebration of creative arts, technology and lights, and supports innovative techniques using light and light technologies as a growing art medium. Artwork displayed this year will include light art, video art, 3D video mapping projections, lighted sculptures and projects that use technology or interactivity.

2020 Highlights:
Lantern Parade | Friday, January 17 | 6:30 pm | Veteran’s Park
This fun-filled people parade will start and finish at Veteran’s Park and proceed down 2nd & 3rd Streets to include views of the nearby art installations in downtown Napa. Cosmos Percussion Ensemble will be performing before the parade as well as leading the parade with their electrifying vibrations. Want to learn more about how to create your lantern? Night Bloom | Saturday, January 11 & 18 | Sunday, January 12 & 19 | 7 pm – 8 pm | Oxbow Commons (Weather Pending)
Napa Valley’s majestic hot air balloons will be uniquely displayed as part of this year’s Art After Dark experience. Several tethered hot air balloons will light up the sky at Oxbow Commons on both weekends of the festival. You won’t want to miss this stunning light show.

Culinary ExperiencesCIA will be offering a full plate of divine events and activities during the festival, like evening tours of Copia, a “Smells like Heaven” palate challenge, a chicken wings cooking class, angel cookie decorating, The Angel’s Grove Beer Garden, and more. Historical Tours
The Napa County Historical Society will conduct four illuminating tours of the five historic buildings featured in this year’s Napa Lighted Art Festival on both Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm. Advanced reservations are recommended. Click here, for more information. General Admission tickets are $20.
