32nd Annual Chinatown Streetfest | Oakland

On August 24 & 25, the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce (OCCC) will be presenting its 32nd Annual Chinatown StreetFest.

The two-day event runs from 10 am to 5:30 pm and is free to the public. Consisting of more than 150 booths, the festival will span seven blocks of Chinatown.

There will be arts & crafts, live music, cultural entertainment, and attractions for families and children.

In celebrating the Year of the Boar, the Chinatown StreetFest will attract thousands of people from all over the Bay Area to come savor the taste of Asia, and to experience the traditions that Oakland’s Chinatown has so diligently preserved.

Every year small businesses and community organizations from all over California come to showcase a myriad of delicious foods, unique Asian products, and special services.

There will also be arts & crafts at the Cultural Village sponsored by Oakland A’s. There will have a new Kids Zone with new rides and fun activities.

Please also feel free to enjoy live music and cultural entertainment at one of the two stages, and the many food options at one of our many food trucks and booths.

Getting There: Festival attendees are encouraged to take BART. Get off at the 12th Street Oakland station and exit to 11th Street. When you get up to the street level, you will be at 11th and Broadway. Walk down Broadway towards 9th Street until you see the festival.
