Our HellaFunny stand-up comics will have you in stitches with their hilarious jokes while you discover this amazing bar, First Edition, just steps from BART (19th St. Oakland)

It’s a 70+ minute show with 4-5 comics on the bill with credits like Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, ABC and NBC.
FOOD, DRINKS + HAPPY HOUR
Enjoy a full bar, beer, wine, craft cocktails and a pop-up menu of $5 tacos and jam packed $14 burritos from Xolo La Taqueria (anything can be made vegan or gluten free).
Arrive early for happy hour (5-7p) so you have a draft cocktail in hand when the show starts for just $7 like an old fashioned, house paloma and more.
ABOUT FIRST EDITION
This 3,000+ square foot Uptown Oakland comic book-themed bar (with a focus on villains) is a craft cocktail experience from the team behind SF bars Jackalope and Soda Popinski’s. The bar has two mezzanines, a pop-up Mission-style taqueria and a hidden rooftop patio. All of our art is graphic novel/comic book inspired and created by local artist Michael Brennan.
This is a great opportunity to unwind and enjoy some live entertainment with friends.
The show will be outdoors if the weather’s great, or we’ll move indoors.
