Welcome to the San Francisco Music Hall of Fame Gallery, the world’s largest gallery dedicated to San Francisco and Bay Area musicians.

How did West Coast Hip-Hop, Thrash Metal, and the Psychedelic sounds of the Summer of Love all take root and thrive in the Bay Area?

The immersive gallery honors around 90 of the most iconic Bay Area artists & bands including Santana, Green Day, E-40, Stevie Nicks, Metallica, Journey, Janis Joplin, Dead Kennedys, John Lee Hooker, Charles Brown and many others.

Join Music City San Francisco on May 8, 11 AM – 8 PM for the San Francisco Hall of Fame Gallery, the largest gallery dedicated to Bay Area musicians. Experience the grand history of Bay Area music by taking an audio tour by local DJ Mike Watermann, check out music from amazing artists, or just enjoy the photographs.

Over 300 Bricks Dedicated to Bay Area Music Scene
Music City Brick Walk is part of our San Francisco Hall of Fame. At the entrance to our building, we have put together over 300 bricks of amazing acts, venues, and people that were associated with the SF music scene over the last 50 years.

Amazing Large-Scale Photos
The gallery is filled with blown up shots from Getty Images, laser printed on aluminum from renowned photographers such as Robert Altman [Rolling Stone], Jeff Kravitz [HBO, MTV, Rolling Stone], and Ed Perlstein.

Original Tributes
Every artists has an original written tribute from prominent national writers such as Ben Fong-Torres [Rolling Stone Magazine], Emma Silvers [KQED], Joel Selvin [SF Chronicle], and more.
