Site-Specific Lunchtime Dance Installation | UN Plaza

Every Wednesday through October 29th.

Legendary San Francisco dancer and choreographer Joanna Haigood will create a site-specific dance installation in collaboration with students from the Alonzo King Lines Ballet in San Francisco. The installation is intended to reflect and build upon United Nations Plaza’s unique architectural aesthetic and position in the core of the city.

The dance installations will be repeated on Thursday afternoons, from noon to 1 pm, throughout October (October 2, 9, 16, & 30).

Pause, Play, Connect at United Nations Plaza is sponsored by San Francisco Beautiful, Invest in Neighborhoods and the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, and hosted by MJM Management Group. United Nations Plaza is located between 7th Street and 8th Street along Market Street in San Francisco.

Please note, the dance performances take place on Thursdays, not Wednesdays, as was originally posted.
