SF’s Cinco de Mayo Lowrider Car Show & Cruise of the Mission (2025)

The Cinco De Mayo San Francisco Lowrider Council Car Show will take place on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at John O’Connell High School located on 20th & Harrison Street in the Mission District. The event will benefit programs suffering from drastic funding cuts at the school.
La Bendicion: At 12 noon the Aztec Dancer in colorful, feather, regalia will perform a ceremonia danza.
A $20 admission fee will be charged to show-cars, but admission is FREE and open to the public. Donation will be collected and appreciated
POST-SHOW CRUISE OF THE MISSION
Following the car show the San Francisco Lowrider Council Cinco de Mayo CRUISE scheduled for 4 PM till 8 PM on 24th & Mission Street. Event goers are invited to patronize and dine in the local restaurants on Mission Street will enjoying the best of lowrider culture.
The Mission Food Hub started serving the community during the COVID pandemic will be celebrating its 5th Anniversary of serving over 9,000 families with culturally appropriate food, rental assistance, COVID testing and vaccines. The Mission Food Hub was officially launched on Cinco De Mayo in 2020 after operating out of the garage of the home of Roberto Hernandez CEO of Cultura y Arte Nativa (CANA). A volunteer and donor appreciation event for families to enjoy food, prizes and music will take place on Sunday MAY 4, 2025, at 12 noon at the CANA headquarters new “Casa de Carnaval” located at 683 Florida Street. CANA will showcase and present the culturally based mental health resources for underserved communities co-produced with UCSF Dept. of Behavioral Health including “Youth Hearts,” a video project promoting mental health access for SF youth created by me
