2018 “Truckee Craw Thaw Music Festival” Live Bands, Crawfish Race & Beer
A Free New Orleans-inspired spring event, the 2018 Truckee Craw Thaw Music Festival will bring a diverse lineup of American roots-inspired musicians, cajun cuisine and family fun to historic downtown Truckee, California on April 27 & 28, 2018. Bands include The Easy Leaves, Jazz Mafia Accomplices, Miss Tess & The Talkbacks, Otis McDonald.
Festivities kick off the evening of Friday, April 27 with two live bands set up on Bridge Street outside Moody’s Bistro, Bar & Beats in downtown Truckee. The jubilation will be complimented by a tasty selection of Cajun-style street food from the recipes of renowned Moody’s Chef William Burns.
On Saturday, April 28, food and games kick off at noon with DJ Headphones and Horses spinning on the decks. Festival goers will enjoy a feast of Creole and cajun-style street fare, barrel-aged Redemption Whiskey cocktails and craft beer. Designed to be a fun event for the whole family, activities will include crawfish races and other games.
Produced by Crux Events in partnership with the Truckee Tourism Business Improvement District (TTBID) and Moody’s Bistro Bar & Beats, this new inaugural event benefits Moody’s Jazz Camp, a non-profit supporting local youth and music education through jazz.
