Sanchez Art Center, Pacifica—Opening Friday, July 10, are two new exhibitions. In East Gallery, Loom & Shuttle Guild members present 20/20: Woven Visions, an exhibit of handcrafted and handwoven art pieces, reflecting a wide range of techniques and skills. Items include woven scarves, shawls, bags, jackets, table runners, tapestries, baskets, and stitched textiles. Showing concurrently in West Gallery is Pathways & Journeys, from the Art Guild of Pacifica.
The opening will be on Friday, July 10, from 1–5 pm. During the opening and for all gallery visits thereafter, safety protocols for the health and well-being of visitors, volunteers, and staff will include physical distancing and limiting the number of people in the galleries; a short wait outside may, therefore, be required. Touchless hand sanitizers will be available, and all will be required to wear face masks (wear your own or available in galleries for $10).
To make sure shows are as available as possible to art lovers, we will extend our normal gallery hours of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1–5 pm, to include a timed entry on weekdays. Reservations can be booked online via our website beginning July 3. Both shows will close at 5 pm on August 9. For more information call 650-355-1894 or visit www.SanchezArtCenter.org. Sanchez Art Center is located at 1220 Linda Mar Blvd, Pacifica, CA.
