Event Details

No prior knowledge required! Just come and enjoy a book talk on Sci-Fi and pop culture followed by a workshop on storytelling (focus on comics) and a trivia game. Participate if you like or just hang out.

Dare to enter The Twilight Zone and beyond and meet artist and writer Henry Chamberlain, creator of the graphic novel George’s Run: A Writer’s Journey Through The Twilight Zone. Join Henry on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2 to 4pm, for some lively chat and a slide show. Henry will be in conversation with his partner and fellow creative, Jennifer Daydreamer. This event is FREE and open to the public.

George’s Run explores the life and times of a group of writers who created some of the most iconic works of pop culture ever written: The Twilight Zone and Star Trek. George Clayton Johnson, who only made it to the 8th grade, went on to write with such legends as Rod Serling and Ray Bradbury. In this unique graphic novel, Henry and George go on a kaleidoscopic journey exploring the creative process and boldly go where no graphic novel has gone before.
