Exploring Opera: 4:30 Movie (Bayview Opera House)

This free event exploring opera-writing will give the opportunity to participate in a collective creative process through music and words. Attendees will be invited to participate in “democratic poetry-writing” with poet Donna Masini, and the creation of “spur of the moment sound-pieces” with composer Kurt Rohde. The event will culminate in a performance of the music and poetry created in the workshop. We will start and finish with a Sonic Mediation from Pauline Oliveros.
