SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025
The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.
Eye of Horus is a series of site-specific solos choreographed and directed by Sara Shelton Mann in collaboration with performers Christine Bonansea, Sherwood Chen, Jorge de Hoyos, Jesse Hewit, and Sara Yassky with DIY elements designed by David Szlasa to interact with performer, cityscape and audience. Conceived as both intensely intimate and as large-scale spectacle, this new work will re-envision San Francisco as a transformative space of visual movement.
Eye of Horus will be performed a total of five times at the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival:
April 24, 2014; April 26, 2014; April 28, 2014; April 30, 2014; May 3, 2014.
