F3 at the Cotton Mill, a giant warehouse in Oakland that’s actually a former cotton mill, opens its doors to showcase its residents’ work with an evening of  performance artists, live music, and spoken word along with a design bazaar of 25 vendors on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 6-10pm.

F3 is a compendium of art, design, and all types of craftsmanship to be presented by the residents of the historic Cotton Mill Studios.

  • Open Studios
    Attendees will get an exclusive glimpse at the diverse artists that claim The Cotton Mill as their home. Sculpture, painting, photography, metalwork, perfume, jewelry design, and woodworking are among the variety of arts represented at the Mill.
  • Art Gallery and Champagne Room
    Treat yourself to a free glass of bubbly while you browse the gallery full of work from talented resident and guest artists.
  • Design Bazaar
    The eclectic marketplace will showcase 25 vendors, selling everything from fine art to handmade clothing and collectibles.
  • Clock Tower Showcase
    Clock Tower Showcase features Bay Area talent, including: Sebastian, Gina Glover, Joy Elan, Victoria Massie, Tha Archivez, Mean Dave, Ryan Sallet, Bear’s Belly, and Mad Noise.
  • Food Trucks
    Get Goes Coffee, Fist of Flour Pizza and Boffo Cart

Free Shuttle from Fruitvale BART
The pickup location is west of the Fruitvale BART station entrance, less than 400 feet away. There you will find a sign showing you exactly where the stop is. You should see a shuttle with the F3 logo on the side, waiting to take you right to the show. Rides are free and arrive every 15 minutes between 6-11pm.
